I beg to differ, if everything is left to individuals to explore, it’s gonna be a tight one. IMO this is where mentoring comes into picture. As a leader I need to figure out if someone is in danger zone, and have to pull them out, good I have this blog to point them to.
I agree that if a leader identifies that someone is in danger zone, they try to rescue them. However there is a fine line between coaching and spoon feeding. The role of a leader is to give direction, ask thought provoking questions, so that the individual starts moving to learning zone. Once in that zone, the individual has to spend time in it on their own. Let me know what you think.
